Kids
Norco’s Run Bikes are the perfect way for little ones to learn the basics and develop a love of riding. Featuring 12" air tires, a rear brake and a lightweight aluminum frame with lower standover to fit smaller riders, kids can start riding early and often. As your little ripper discovers their need for speed, they can get used to controlling it with the easy-to-use rear v-brake and small lever with reach adjust.
Is your little one ready for a big kid bike? The Coaster 12" is the perfect first bike or progression from a run bike for kids age 3 to 4 years old. Equipped with coaster brakes and removable training wheels, the Coaster 12" gives young riders the stability and control to build confidence and skills. The lightweight aluminum frame has lower standover to fit smaller riders, so young kids can begin to experience the fun and adventure only found on two wheels.
Laser's mini MX-Moto design offers plenty of stand-over clearance for young riders and a head-turning, two-tone paint finish that will be the talk of the neighborhood.
The full-length & full ring-wrap chainguard on Miss Daisy keep clothes & legs cleanly and safely out of the way of the chain. Those attractively painted fenders keep the rain & mud off the bike AND the rider and look cute to boot.
TOP FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our lightweight & durable aluminum Starlite frame is easier to pedal than steel.
Starlite's swooping frame design has a purpose other than great looks: with 20” wheels this bike offers a low standover and low center of gravity for stable, secure riding and control. We've even increased the wheelbase length over our 20” Laser to offer even greater stability, security and comfort.
Our wheels are light and easy to pedal thanks to the lightweight alloy rims that are silver anodized for extra corrosion resistance. We build the Starlite wheels with 36 spokes in a 3-cross lacing pattern for a strong & durable wheel.
Starlite's swept back handlebars aren't boys BMX bars painted a feminine color: they are specifically designed to be easy to reach and promote a comfortable, secure, and upright ride position.
Starlite's extra-plush, broad-based saddle features a suede-like brushed vinyl top that's grippy and keeps young riders from sliding around unsafely on the saddle top.
TOP FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our lightweight & durable aluminum Laser frame is easier to pedal than steel.
The 20” Laser actually offers two types of brakes: a standard rear coaster brake, which most youngsters are familiar with, and a rear V-brake which many are not. Having the rear coaster brake as a back-up, allows youngsters to get used to hand-braking without going cold-turkey on the coaster brake they are comfortable with.
Our alloy rims are anodized black to provide even greater corrosion and rust resistance than the alloy already possesses. Before wheels are laced and trued, the rim sidewalls are ground to provide a smooth braking surface for the rear V-brake.
We build the Laser 2.0 wheels with 36 spokes in a 3-cross lacing pattern for a strong & durable wheel. Then mount knobby BMX tires that bite in the dirt, but also feature a rounded profile that rolls smoothly on neighborhood streets & driveways.
Every Laser 2.0 offers a kickstand for parking that pride & joy up securely, and a safety bell to announce that the Laser has arrived.

Capri's swooping frame design has a purpose other than great looks: with 24” wheels this bike offers a low standover and low center of gravity for stable, secure riding and control. We've even increased the wheelbase length over our 20” mountain bike to offer even greater stability, security and comfort.
A seven-speed drivetrain is enough for any girl to learn how to shift and master. It's also enough gearing to get around the neighborhood comfortably.
Which is why we spec just one single chainring in front: to simplify shifting. We top it off with a full-wrap chainguard to keep the chain in place and clothes & legs out of the chain's way.
Shimano's Revoshift twist shifters and Shimano rear derailleur are kid friendly & easy to shift.
Our pedals offer a non-slip insert that keeps feet and shoes in full contact even when wet for safe & secure pedaling.
Every Capri comes equipped with a kickstand so parking doesn’t result in gouges or scratches and an unhappy new bike owner.

Every Jamis youth bike uses size-specific items like grips, saddles and cranks that enhance comfort and control by providing the best possible bike fit. We focus on designing frames with low stand-over’s to take much of the awkwardness out of getting on board and dismounting after. We trim as much weight as we can with lightweight aluminum frames on many of the youth models and use aluminum parts where possible (the limiting factor here is working within a youth bike appropriate price point) to work towards that make-it-as-light-as-possible goal.
The Fluid HT+ 4.3 is a capable, responsive aluminum hardtail frame designed to provide massive grip and shock absorption to young riders on all types of trails.
Built around plus-sized 24x2.6” tires to roll through bumps, the Fluid HT+ 4.3 also benefits from huge amounts of rubber being in contact with the trail, providing massive traction on climbs, descents, and rolling through technical terrain, and capable handling for the pint-size thrill-seeker.
We added an adjustable SR Suntour XCM24+ fork up front to provide added comfort and traction, with an 8-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain to give little rippers easy access to a wide range of gears. All this traction and technical ability would be lost if the Fluid HT+ 4.3 didn’t have strong brakes, so we added some Tektro hydraulic discs for added confidence.
FRAME MATERIALS
Lightweight and strong 6061 series aluminum tubing, featuring over-sized & tapered tubing for increased frame stiffness.
PEDALING PLATFORM
The aluminum frame of the Trail X and Helix is beefed up to include a larger 34.9mm seat tube, which allows us to spec an over-sized 31.6mm seat post. The larger diameter post flexes less, providing a firmer pedaling platform.
TOP TUBE CABLE ROUTING
Running the cables up under the top tube keeps cables and housing out of the muck for more precise and reliable shifting performance.
ZERO STACK INTERNAL HEADSET
A Zero Stack internal headset places both the cups and bearings inside the head tube instead of outside. This reduces the total stack height (including the head tube), which is beneficial on larger wheeled bikes. The larger diameter head tube also provides a larger weld interface at the critical head/top/down tube junction.
DUAL WATER BOTTLE MOUNTS
Most of our Trail X sizes offer two water bottle mounts located inside the main frame. This provides excellent hydration capacity in an easily accessible position.
REPLACEABLE DERAILLEUR HANGER
Because it’s much easier and much less expensive to replace a derailleur hanger than it is to repair or replace a frame, every Trail X frame offers a replaceable derailleur hanger designed to yield in a crash before the frame does.
ALEX TD26 DISC-SPECIFIC RIMS
Disc hubs twist during braking. This twisting increases “pull” load on the nipples in the spoke bed. The Alex TD26 spoke bed on the rims specified on all Trail X models are cleverly reinforced to resist disc brake torque and prevent spokes & nipples from shearing.
